For the New Istropolis project, we developed a comprehensive energy concept focused on the strategic planning and sustainability of this entire modern urban hub. Our goal was to design technological solutions that would bring maximum efficiency and connect the diverse functions of the complex. The key pillar of our analysis was the search for and maximization of mutual synergies within the entire area, primarily through the reuse of waste heat generated during the cooling process. For the entire project, we defined an optimal model of heat and cold production and processed detailed energy models with an hourly time step, which allowed us to accurately simulate the annual consumption balance.
We expanded the view of the urban district by analyzing the external environment and microclimate. We developed a comprehensive wind study for the entire area and in selected exposed areas we implemented detailed CFD simulations, with which we precisely verified and guaranteed optimal thermal comfort for future users. Thanks to our study, the investor received an exact economic and environmental evaluation that connects technical sophistication with long-term predictable operating costs.
