For the upcoming residential complex, we prepared a conceptual study of the energy management of the area, focused on the design and comparison of heating and cooling supply options with regard to the phasing of construction. Part of the solution was the assessment of the possibilities of using renewable energy sources, including photovoltaic systems.
The reference buildings were assessed from the perspective of thermal protection of the buildings and the assumption of meeting the requirements of energy class A0. The analysis included optimization of the design with the aim of achieving a balanced ratio between investment costs and future operating costs.
Individual variants of the energy concept of the area were compared in terms of investment intensity, operating costs for energy and environmental impacts. The output of the study was a professional basis for selecting the optimal energy solution for the entire area with an emphasis on long-term energy efficiency and economic sustainability of the project.
